The Cafe

Designed under the philosophy of Maison Aranya. Material honesty, calm and clarity. A place to slow down. A place to think clearly. A place to feel at ease.

The Space

The 11th Bean counter and bar area

"The bar is where everything begins."

With respect, precision and patience. Watch the process and you will understand what the name means. Every cup brewed with the same intent.

Every piece was chosen to say: slow down. Stay as long as you want. No pressure to leave. No pressure to order more.

Not just a cafe

The Living Room

A neighbourhood café designed for slow mornings, long work sessions and conversations that run longer than expected.

Where we are

Basavanagudi

The Tata Silk Farm address carries history most people in the city have forgotten. JRD Tata started a silk cultivation venture here in 1896. The mulberry trees are gone, but the name stayed. A cafe here felt right, building something new in a place that has always been about making things.

Basavanagudi has a particular pace. Slower than Koramangala, less self-conscious than Indiranagar. Lalbagh is a five-minute walk. Gandhi Bazaar is the kind of market that makes you feel like the city is still human-sized. The 11th Bean belongs here.
